The Intel® Pentium® 4 processor-based platform is equipped with a whole range of enhanced features thanks to the chipset of the most-advanced architecture. The Intel® Performance Acceleration Technology (Intel®® PAT) delivers additional system-level performance by optimizing memory access between CPU and system memory on 800-MHz FSB and Dual Channel DDR 400 configuration.

The board has two 184-pin DIMM sockets supporting up to 2GB DDR 266/333/400 with ECC function. ICH5R integrates Serial ATA RAID capability for Additional storage performance. Four ports of hi-speed USB 2.0 and 82547GI Gigabit LAN (optional) are enhanced by Intel® Communication Streaming Architecture (CSA) featuring a dedicated networking bus interface. Built-in audio controller Codec AC97 offers the superior multimedia experience. Other such functions as PCI to ISA bridge, ISA High Drive, Watchdog Timer, SSD interface are essential for industrial applications.

Additionally, the platform features unique MicroAGP slot for various VGA cards. IBASE offers IBA110 MicroAGP daughter card with ATI M7/M9/M10 VGA chip plus LVDS, TMDS, TV-out and 2^nd CRT.
