IBASE Technology, a leader in embedded computing, introduces its new embedded board IB880. IB880 is targeted for the mobile, panel PC and industrial computing markets. Based on the latest Intel^® 855GME/852GM chipset, this 5.25" disk-size SBC supports 400MHz system bus and power saving features. With DDR-333 memory support and the 855GME's integrated graphics solution, the IB880 provides realistic 3D graphics with sharp images and enables balanced memory usage between graphics and system for optimal performance.

The integrated graphics supports dual independent display, allowing two independent video sources such as CRT with an LVDS panel or TMDS display. With the Intel^® Dual-Frequency Graphics Technology (Intel^® DFGT) support, it also reduces integrated graphics chipset power.

Designed for Pentium^® M and Celeron^® M processors, the IB880 accommodates up to 2GB of DDR memory in its two DIMM slots. Networking functionality comes with an integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet controller as well as an optional Gigabit LAN. Expansion slots comprise a mini PCI slot and a Compact Flash socket, while advanced connectivity comes through two serial ATA ports, four high-speed USB 2.0 ports and four serial ports.

All in all, the IB880 5.25" embedded board answers the need for a high-performance but low power solution with integrated chipset features required in interactive computing and industrial computing applications.
