| Warranty Claim And RMA Procedure |
IBASE Europe (TMC Technology) hardware products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the invoice date, unless stated otherwise on purchase. Should the need arise for service pursuant to warranty, the procedures listed below should be followed:
1. Return the products to the following address: TMC Technology (IBASE Europe) Returns Department Unit N Gunnels Wood Park, Gunnels Wood Road Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 2BH. United Kingdom Any returned products must be shipped prepaid. In addition, the product must be insured, because under the warranty TMC/IBASE assumes no responsibility for damage or loss during transit.
2. Returned products must have an RMA (Returns Merchandise Authorisation) number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. Products returned without an RMA number marked outside the box will be refused at our receiving dock or we will request for you to collect it from TMC/IBASE's premises . TMC/IBASE will not take any responsibility for the condition of unauthorised return goods. RMA number's will only be obtained by completing the on-line RMA form. You will then be notified of the RMA number either by fax or telephone. TMC/IBASE will not accept any items for RMA if it does not hold the TMC/IBASE warranty label.
3. The completed RMA form must be enclosed with the returned goods. Failure to do so will result in the delay of processing the returned products.
4. Defective products will be repaired or replaced at TMC/IBASE's discretion in accordance with the warranty policy as stated on purchase.
5. All items returned to TMC/IBASE on RMA must not contain any labels other than the one's contained on receipt of purchase order.
6. TMC/IBASE will return products via courier/post, transit charges prepaid if the products are under warrant.
All other terms are subject to our Standard Conditions of Sale. A copy can be obtained from www.ibase-europe.com.
There are three main items of information needed to process a warranty claim.
1. TMC/IBASE's model number.
2. Serial number.
3. TMC/IBASE's sale invoice number and date.
4. Description of problem.
Try to define the fault in as much detail as possible. Just specifying 'DEAD' or; 'HANGS INTERMITTANTLY', increases the amount of time that it takes for our engineers to evaluate and repair the board for non-existent faults. Motherboards with no fault description will be given a general test only before sending to the customer.
All RMA numbers are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
For efficient and fast service, all details on the RMA form must be filled out correctly. The invoice number must be correct or the RMA will not be issued.
If the product is found to be damaged through negligence or the use of third party products not suitable for use with the item, the warranty will be invalidated. If this situation occurs then a charge may be incurred and TMC/IBASE will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
